We are thrilled to announce that UCL School of Management alumna Ina Jovicic and UCL Engineering alum Gaelic Jara Reinhold have recently secured £240,000 in pre-seed funding for their tech start-up eNOugh. Founded in 2022, eNOugh is a business dedicated to enhancing personal safety, with its innovative AI-powered wearable protection badge. Recognising the role UCL School of Management and its impressive network have played, Ina emphasises the importance that this funding will have in advancing eNOugh’s mission to shape the future of personal protection.
PurposeTech VC spearheaded this £240,000 investment with additional backing from several angel investors worldwide. One of the angel investors represented a particularly poignant connection for Ina as a successful founder who she had previously interviewed for an assignment at UCL School of Management. The UCL connection does not stop there! Ina reveals that her MSc in Entrepreneurship has directly contributed to an impressive seven successful investments. Not only does this underline the strength of UCL School of Management’s close-knit network, but it further illustrates the success that many alumni go on to achieve.
Shortly after graduating from UCL School of Management in 2022, Ina turned a deeply personal experience into the catalyst for launching eNOugh. The idea for the company emerged after she was mugged by a gang of four men while walking home alone, fuelling her determination to enhance personal safety. Despite the initial hurdles in securing pre-seed funding—an entirely new challenge for both Ina and Gaelic—their unwavering commitment to empowering individuals, particularly women, with greater safety resonated strongly with investors. This shared drive was pivotal in overcoming early difficulties and securing the significant funding needed to propel eNOugh forward.
Ina and Gaelic are excited for eNOugh to take its next steps and bring their vision to life. This funding marks a crucial step forward, allowing them to launch their innovative protection badge and advance their mission of making the streets safer. Congratulations to both, we are excited to see the impact this funding will have and can’t wait to follow your journey as you continue to make a difference!
