Sigma Squared Fellows Engage in Collaborative Session at School of Management

The UCL School of Management recently hosted an exclusive event in collaboration with Sigma Squared, the premier organisation for ambitious, value-driven entrepreneurs under 26 worldwide. Sigma Squared, a global network comprising 1,000 members who have collectively raised almost $2 billion, includes notable School of Management alumni such as eNOugh Founder Ina Jovicic and Tuggs Founder Harry Bremner. Ina and Harry graduated from UCL School of Management’s MSc Entrepreneurship programme in 2022 and 2021 respectively.

The evening proved to be an enriching experience, featuring a “Mastermind Session” where Sigma Squared entrepreneurs presented real-world challenges facing their companies. Attendees engaged in a collaborative problem-solving process, spending 20-30 minutes per challenge to ask probing questions, gain deeper insights, and share relevant experiences. The breadth and depth of experience among the participants made the session particularly valuable.

Pierre-Jean Hanard, School Lead for Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey, and being open and candid about the struggles facing entrepreneurs requires a great deal of courage. When we openly discuss our difficulties with fellow entrepreneurs, we often realise we are not alone, and this is very empowering. At the UCL School of Management, we believe that the support and connections found within a community are essential not only for driving innovation but also for getting support. By creating opportunities for open dialogue, we aim to empower entrepreneurs to face their challenges with confidence. This approach is at the heart of our mission to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
