The UCL MBA celebrates graduating students at Orientation & Immersion Weekend

Graduating UCL MBA Cohort in Senate House. May 2024.

The UCL School of Management recently celebrated the success of twenty four graduating MBA students, who joined us in London for our bi-annual UCL MBA Orientation and Immersion Weekend. A themed event, the weekend explored psychological capital and offered current and former UCL MBA students the opportunity to network, work together and gain key insights on techniques designed to enhance their personal and professional development.

Starting the weekend at the recently-unveiled UCL East campus in Stratford, our UCL MBA students attended a talk from UCL School of Management’s Ben Laumann, who explored the significance of resilience and the ways in which it can be used to transform ‘worst-case’ thinking. Students then gained key insights into strategies for motivation and goal attainment with UCL School of Management Lecturer Lorenzo Todorow.

On Friday, UCL School of Management was delighted to welcome motivational speaker and New York Times Best Selling Author Jean Gomes to our home in Canary Wharf, who shared his expertise on understanding, building and applying mindsets. The group then headed to Senate House to celebrate the twenty four graduating students of this year’s cohort - the largest Completion Ceremony of the programme so far.

Rounding off the weekend, our UCL MBA students enjoyed the opportunity to work together to solve puzzles in The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience, before enjoying drinks in central London and a pasta-making workshop at Covent Garden’s Petersham Nurseries. Congratulations to all of our graduating UCL MBA students. We wish you luck in your future endeavours.
