The UCL Arena programme enables teaching staff to gain recognition within the Higher Education Academy Teaching Excellence Framework. Launched in April 2013, the programme has already seen over 2000 UCL staff attend events and qualification workshops and on 19th January 2015 the inaugural awards were made to staff from across UCL, including three awards to MS&I staff.

Ann Parchment received her Associate Fellowship, an award for those new to teaching, while Jane Britton and Jane Burns received the Senior Fellowship, the highest level of award available within UCL.
