About the role
The Senior Global Engagement Officer will act as the administrative lead for the UCL School of Management’s global engagement activities.
The post holder will work with the Global Engagement team to implement the Global Engagement Strategy of the School, which includes managing relationships with all the School’s international partners, managing the student exchange programmes, managing the design and delivery of international programmes and supporting alumni and recruitment events overseas.
The post holder will act as the first point of contact in the School for students and staff for all queries related to global engagement activities.
This is a 10-month fixed-term maternity cover role, which is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% onsite with the possibility to extend for a further month.
Salary details: UCL Grade 7, £43,374 to £51,860 per annum (including London Allowance)
About you
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or possess equivalent experience), ideally with a background in Higher Education or a similar environment. They will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships, particularly through liaison, engagement, and networking with international partners.
Experience in course and programme administration, including direct support for students, is essential. The role also requires familiarity with working in an academic setting, collaborating closely with academic staff and students across Schools, Departments, and Faculties. Additionally, it is desirable if candidates have experience in planning and delivering events.
