Cemre Yoldas is a Teaching Assistant at UCL School of Management and a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Leicester. At UCL, she has worked as a Teaching Assistant on Understanding the Information Economy, The Knowledge Economy: Consultancy Project. At Leicester, she has worked as a seminar tutor in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics for Economics and Maths for Economics. Before moving into academia, Cemre worked in investment and portfolio management. That experience, together with her postgraduate training in Behavioural Economics, shaped a lasting interest in the way economic ideas meet real decisions, markets and risk. She holds Associate Fellowship of Advance HE (AFHEA) and continues to write about behavioural economics and finance for wider audiences. Away from economics, she is rarely far from good coffee or a book, and will almost never turn down a conversation about history or philosophy — or a puzzle that takes rather longer to solve than expected.
