Biography
Sara is an MRes/PhD student in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship group at the UCL School of Management. Her research interests include collaboration and socialisation processes in distributed organisations, organisational learning in co-working spaces, and the challenges and opportunities of hybrid working. Prior to joining UCL, she worked as an external and in-house leadership consultant in the US and the UK. She holds an MPhil in Organisational Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MSc in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology from King’s College London and a B.A. in Politics and Psychology from Scripps College. Her undergraduate and graduate research work have been published in the Journals of Gerontology and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Her MPhil research was funded by a LaCaixa Scholarship for young talent. She is a practitioner in the Insight meditation tradition and a passionate surfer (which does not translate to skilled). For inspiration, she turns to the writings of Deborah Levy, Jeanette Winterson and Tara Westover.
