Biography

Deepanshi Bhardwaj is a 5th year PhD candidate in the Operations & Technology Management Area,  advised by Bilal Gokpinar. 

Her research focuses on operational Challenges in innovation management. More specifically, she studies how emerging technologies like AI, digital platforms and digital identity systems can improve efficiency and productivity. Within this area, she is particularly interested in settings where human-technology interactions shape businesses and performance.  

Her work applies econometrics and machine learning methods to understand the interaction between humans, technology and operational processes.  

She has a Bachelors degree in Economics from University of Delhi, India and an MSc in Financial Economics from GIPE, Pune, India. Prior to joining UCL, she worked as a Research Associate at Digital Identity Research Initiative, Indian School of Business (ISB).
