Ana Bleahu
Biography
Ana is an Associate Fellow in Higher Education with a PhD in Digital Sociology and an extensive history of teaching in the academic environment.
She is an experienced researcher/consultant skilled in quantitative and qualitative research methods, social network analysis, and data visualisation.
She has worked in various capacities (consultant, team member, team leader) across research and evaluation projects in areas including migration, human rights, minorities, health, education, prosperity, and digital sociology.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Experience in teaching research methodology, quantitative research methods and statistical analysis at the UCL School of Management, the UCL Department of Anthropology and Social Network Analysis at the London School of Economics.
Extensive qualitative/quantitative fieldwork experience in the international context (UK, Italy, Spain, France, Romania, Moldova) and proved ability to approach sensitive issues in problematic research topics and diverse communities.
Experience in using digital innovative tools for collecting data (using community researchers and apps) and for analysing and visualising data (spatial statistical analysis, story maps, data visualisation).
